  1. What is the bedroom Configuration?
    • Master Bedroom / full bath - 1 king, 1 bunk bed (2 twins)
    • Second Bedroom / full bath - 2 queens
    • Loft Bedroom (open to living area below) / 1/2 bath, 1 queen, 1 bunk bed (2 twins)
  2. How do I get the keys to the Condo?
    • Once the contract is executed and the funds are paid, I’ll send the lockbox combination to you where the condo key is stored. There are three additional keys in the unit
  3. How do I get to the Condo?
    • We'll send complete instructions, addresses, directions, Breckenridge recommendations, etc. to you once the contract & money is done
  4. Is there wireless internet access?
    • Yes, although it needs a security password which is provided. It is posted inside the unit as well
  5. Can we check out early? Arrive early?
    • The check-in time is 4pm and the check-out time is 10am. These are rigorously enforced as the turnover on a Saturday is very tight. However, there are times when things can be rearranged, particularly if it is not a Saturday.
  6. What if we need help in the unit?
    • There is an on-site building manager, we have a local agent, and I’m available by cell as well if there are any issues.
  7. What about parking?
    • The condo comes with spaces for two cars only. You will need parking passes to use the garage and I’ll send them with the executed rental agreement.
  8. Other units aren't charging lodging tax. Why are you?
    • Believe me, they owe the tax but they are probably putting into the total amount. Because our rental rates vary by time of season and duration of rental, it is easier to add it separately to the total. The good news is that Skiwatch is outside the Breckenridge town limits and the tax is 5.775% versus 10.375% down in town!
  9. I want to rent the unit. What do I do next?
    1. Send me an email (miwinfrey@sbcglobal.net) requesting the reservation
    2. I’ll double check with the other owners and email final confirmation (usually a day or two) and the rental contract
    3. We freeze the rental for 10 days while you send the executed contract and the 25% deposit (assuming greater than 60 days to the rental)
    4. 60 days prior to the rental, the additional 75% and $450 security deposit is due
    5. Once the contract and funds are received, I’ll email all the information for you to use the condo

  10. Can I rent the unit for the weekend?
    • Unfortunately, our minimum rental is 3 nights. The maid service eats up whatever rental income there is when less than this. Also, the per night cost drops as the rental duration increases from 3 to 4 nights, 5 to 6 nights, and 7 or more nights – about a 10% reduction each step. We’d had some folks extend their stay from 4 to 5 nights (or 6 to 7) to take advantage of this.
  11. When is the unit avaiable?
  12. Is the condo non-smoking?
    • Absolutely including a large cleaning fee if someone does.
  13. Are linens and maid service included?
    • Linens included sheets, pillow cases, towels, etc. are furnished for the week. The condo is cleaned prior to your arrival and does not have daily maid service. This can be arranged for an extra fee if you would like.
  14. What happens if we want to cancel the reservation?
    • If it is 60 days prior to rental, then all funds are returned. If it is closer than 60 days to the rental, there is no refund unless we get the unit rented again. If we do get it rented, we’ll refund the difference between the your balance and the new rental less a $100 service fee. We have always been able to find another rental, albeit usually a lower price.
  15. Does the unit face the slopes?
    • No, not directly. You can see part of the slope but it is on the north side through the trees.
  16. Does the unit have a grill?
    • Yes, a gas grill out on the outside porch.
